About.

Create the life you desire.

Hi! Here’s a little bit about me.

I am a Certified Professional Organizer® and Productivity Expert. I started Disorder2Order, LLC, in 2004 and quickly joined the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO). Over the years, I have served the association and the Oregon chapter through various leadership positions. I believe service is at the core of my business, and I value the relationships I have built within the organizing and productivity community.

I am passionate about education and learning. In 2010, I graduated from Coach Approach Organizer Coach Training, where I learned the importance of client conversation and skills to help my clients reach their full potential. In 2012, I became a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®), reflected in my commitment to education and ethical responsibility to the organizing and productivity industry, but most importantly, my clients.

I have earned Certificates of Study in Basic Chronic Disorganization, Basic ADD Issues with Chronically Disorganized Clients, and Client Administration from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), as well as Specialist Certificates in Workplace Productivity and Life Transitions from NAPO.

Preserving and securing photos is a passion project for me. Images are evidence of a life well-lived; we must secure those memories for future generations.

I'm super proud that 2024 is my 20th year in business. Serving my community has been an honor, and I value my clients' trust in me to help them with their organizing goals. I grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago and moved to Oregon in 1998. We raised our family in the Columbia River Gorge and now live in Vancouver, WA. I enjoy gardening, reading, hiking, e-biking, camping, and living sustainably when not working. I believe we have a duty to take care of the environment.

2024 Service to NAPO Award Recipiant

The Service to NAPO Award is bestowed upon a NAPO volunteer or group of volunteers whose dedication and commitment to NAPO and their area of responsibility go above and beyond. The award recipient(s) are selected by the NAPO president and presented during the NAPO Annual Summit.

There’s a Harry Truman quotation where he said: “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” This years’ Service to NAPO award gives a nod to the legions of volunteers in NAPO who are making quiet contributions.

In all the years our Service to NAPO award recipient has been investing her time and talent in NAPO, she has never wanted her name on the marquee. When someone does not crave the spotlight, I often fear that they don’t know how much we value the impact that they have on NAPO.

We rarely talk about members “going above and beyond” simply through consistent dedication year after year after year. So today, I choose to honor someone who has been saying, “Yes— how can I help?” For twenty years.

This member contributed to her chapter board and then in various volunteer leadership roles at the national level, including CRC co-chair and BCPO Board member. She is an active, driving voice in her SIG. Her most recent volunteer role was part of a communication task team that just wrapped its work in January. And every year, because of her post on POINT, she inspires us all to pack sustainably for NAPO Summit!

Congratulations to this year’s Service to NAPO award recipient, Megan Spears!
